best car gas mileage
Which standard engine (not hybrid) car gets the best gas mileage?
I’ve been in the market for a new car since September. I know, I know, but it has to be a perfect blend of economy, price, and features. I’m very partial to the Toyota Corolla at 38 mpg, but I just want to make the best decision possible. Any advise or does anybody know of a better car?
The previous answer sounds right, although I would also look for a Diesel powered car, they get more and more popular because of their extremely good fuel/mileage.
From experience I would like to comment, I once had a 190D Mercedes, a full size boat with tail fins, absolutely comfortable and plenty of room, a trunk that could have contained 4 people alone, a luxury 4 door car. It got me 62.5 miles to the gallon of Diesel!!!! They don’t make them anymore.
