Will a car insurance company pay for Britax carseat replacement after a wreck?

This morning myself and my children were in a pretty bad wreck where the guy hit us coming off the interstate at full speed. We are all shaken up, but physically just sore. My kids ages 4 years & 10 months are all in one piece thanks to their Britax seats, thank goodness.

My van is a goner and I know I have to replace my kids’ seats as well. Will this guys insurance cover my kids Britax seats? I know by law they have to pay for other seats, but will they cover over $200.00 for Britax? I want my kids to be in the same seats. My infant daughter was in a roundabout and my 4 year old son was in a brand new (purchased last month) Marathon. I have receipts for neither, because the roundabout was my sons and was purchased 3 years ago so that recpt. is long gone. The Marathon was purchased NEW sealed in the box from a carseat seller on eBay. I have the payapl invoice for it from last month, but no “real” recpt.

Yes, they will pay you for the damaged car seats. They will likely ask you for a replacement receipt, and deduct for depriciation. The will also take the old seats as salvage.

You should be paid in full for the seat that is one month old. However, if the ACV of your totaled van exceeds the other party’s policy limits, you will have to file suit directly against him for compensation.

What is the best way to Wax a car/truck?

I really hate this boring job but i am cheap and i do have a electric buffer…so what is the lazy mans way to detail the car/truck..its don’t have to be show room shine…just good enough for a FORD..
I know there is tricks because I used to go to an assly plants and i know they use windshield solvent as a good cleaner and they have products that are not on the market as they are very expensive..i even seen them use a cable lubricant..to pull the wires through the conduit they would put this stuff on the wires..but someone found out it worked on cars/truck and gave a wonderful shine but it was expensive..i forgot the name.???anyone know of this or any procucts..??thanks…

I know these waxes to be super easy to use, literally wipe on/wipe off:
-S100 carnauba: $15 at a Harley Davidson dealer, super on silver paint, more shiny than glowy
-Meguiar’s NXT paste: very good overall, $15
-Eagle One Nanowax Spray: very good and fairly durable spray wax, has a warm carnauba look, about $5-6
-Duragloss Aquawax: like the Eagle One except even more durable, more shiny look, inexpensive yet approaches the performance of boutique waxes, in my opinion, the best in this list and only $7

What some essential things i need to put in my car?

Hey :]!!!

I’m getting a toyota corolla sport, in a couple of weeks!! I was wondering what some essential things i need to put in my car or just some cute/cool little things i should put in my car (nothing tacky like seat covers or steering wheel covers) i already got a small window decal to put on my car, it has tinkerbell and it says “psssst…you just got passed by a girl!” i thought it was cute :] and i’m getting a hawaiian lei to hang for my rear view mirror and a air freshener to but on the air vent. is there any othe cute ideas or essentials i need for my car??? thanks :]

sound system in a truck?

okay i just need some ideas i have an older truck but, i have a problem not enough space…. i have two 6×8’s behind the seats because they don’t fit in stock location and i have a 5×7 in either door i have room for an 800 watt am (which i can get for cheap from a friend) that will fit really nicely Between the two speakers it sounds great but id like to get a little more…. any suggestions? i can get subs cheap too but, i don’t know if i can use them…. but i really want then , its and older dodge dakota. and its completely custom, or is on It way to being there

shallow mount subs is the only option for you my friend, if that’s the enclosure tou want to use. You can build a better box and fit some actual 10’s up in there. I know you can because my dad has an even smaller truck with less space and we built one for it. All on you.
